Our Story
Our story began in 2019, when I purchased land in northern Vermont just down the road from my sister Janette and her husband, Nevin. Together, we began making maple syrup, and G&W Maple Products was born.
In those early days, most of the sap we processed came from my woods, with additional sap from other locations. As demand grew, Nevin had the opportunity to lease an adjoining maple woods, nearly doubling our number of taps. We also built a new sugarhouse to better accommodate the growing business.
In April 2025, I married my lovely wife. With us living far from Vermont, Nevin carried much of the day-to-day work of producing our syrup. In 2026, Nevin and Janette decided to move away and step away from G&W Maple Products.
My wife and I chose to carry the business forward from our home in Pennsylvania under a new name: Amber Hearth Maple.
Although we no longer boil syrup ourselves, our commitment remains the same: to bring our customers high-quality, pure Vermont maple syrup and other delicious maple products. We’re grateful for everyone who has been part of our story and look forward to sharing this next chapter with you.
